Welcome to The Neurodivergent Naturopath, a neuroaffirming space for autistic and ADHD children, teens and families who need support that looks deeper than behaviour alone. Sarah provides naturopathic care for gut health, sleep, feeding challenges, ARFID, anxiety, nutrients, hormones and nervous system regulation, with

Neuroaffirming support for autistic and ADHD children that looks beyond behaviour and asks what the body, brain and nervous system are communicating. Sarah supports common areas such as sleep, digestion, feeding challenges, anxiety, sensory overwhelm, nutrient needs and emotional regulation.

Gut symptoms are common in neurodivergent children and can affect mood, sleep, appetite, focus, immunity and comfort. Sarah supports constipation, diarrhoea, bloating, tummy pain, reflux, food reactions and microbiome health with practical, child centred naturopathic care.

Anxiety in children is not always just worry. It can show up as meltdowns, avoidance, tummy aches, sleep issues, rigidity, shutdowns or big emotions. Sarah works gently with families to support the nervous system, reduce underlying stressors and help children feel safer in their body.

Feeding challenges are not just picky eating. Many neurodivergent children experience food as overwhelming, unsafe or unpredictable because of sensory sensitivities, anxiety, nausea, low appetite, gut symptoms or previous negative food experiences. Sarah helps families build a gentler plan that protects safe foods, supports nutrition and reduces pressure around eating.

PANS and PANDAS can bring sudden and intense changes in mood, anxiety, OCD type behaviours, sleep, eating, sensory tolerance, tics or emotional regulation. Sarah supports families by looking at immune triggers, inflammation, gut health, nutrient status and nervous system stress while working alongside appropriate medical care

Sleep challenges in autistic and ADHD children are often connected to nervous system activation, sensory needs, anxiety, gut discomfort, blood sugar, nutrients, routines or circadian rhythm changes. Sarah works with families to understand what is keeping the body switched on and create practical supports that help sleep feel safer and more achievable.
